
HR Coordinator

As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing People & Culture support across the employee lifecycle and foreign worker management. By ensuring compliance with immigration and employment requirements, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, and partnering with leaders and employees, you will contribute to an engaged workforce and help create an exceptional employee experience.
What You'll Do
Lead Foreign Worker Management
You will coordinate end-to-end foreign worker administration and ensure compliance with relevant legislative and company requirements by:
- Coordinating onboarding and employment processes for foreign workers.
- Managing work permit applications, renewals, cancellations, and related documentation.
- Monitoring passport, visa, medical examination, and permit validity requirements.
- Liaising with government agencies, employment agents, embassies, and external providers.
- Maintaining accurate foreign worker records and databases.
- Coordinating arrivals, accommodation, transportation, and repatriation activities.
- Supporting employee welfare, grievance management, and disciplinary processes where required.
- Ensuring accommodation standards meet applicable regulatory requirements.
- Preparing workforce reports, compliance metrics, and permit status updates.
- Supporting audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
Enable People & Culture Excellence
You will support leaders and employees across a range of People & Culture activities by:
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for HR processes, systems, policies, and procedures.
- Supporting the implementation of HR initiatives, projects, and employment compliance activities.
- Partnering with leaders to deliver effective people solutions.
- Updating and communicating HR policies and procedures.
- Supporting employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Contributing to local and global People & Culture improvement projects.
Drive Recruitment and Onboarding Support
You will:
- Support recruitment activities for wage employees, including posting job advertisements and coordinating candidate administration.
- Review applications and support the initial screening process.
- Prepare and maintain Position Descriptions to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Coordinate new starter documentation and onboarding activities.
- Partner with site leaders and Safety teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Location: Merlimau Site, Malaysia (On-site position)
