We are looking for a technical profile to join the Workshop team who is proficient with electrical and electronic systems and has experience working with battery systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the engineering team with the definition of Test Cases, Requirements and Acceptance Criteria for Test Objects, Functions and Systems.
  • To build, modify and customized test set-ups in different areas Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic.
  • Set up and prepare battery test equipment and instrumentation according to test specifications and procedures.
  • Perform and execute test and experiments from different disciplines electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests on battery prototypes and production units, including performance characterization, Thermal run away, cell characterizations.
  • Monitor test processes and parameters, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test data.
  • Collect, record, and analyze test data using software tools and data acquisition systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Analyse and to report the test/experiments, with detail and accuracy.
  • Document test results, observations, and recommendations in test reports and databases. Keep traceability of Test and Test Reports.
  • Support to Troubleshoot test equipment and instrumentation issues, performing calibration and maintenance as needed

 

Minimum qualifications, skills and experience

  • 2 years of experience working with electronic and electrical systems.
  • Manufacturing and assembling electrical systems (wiring, break-box, etc.).
  • Assembling PCBs with through-hole and SMD components with high precision (tin soldering).
  • Ability to size cable sections according to Current/Power requirements.
  • Experience with electrical and/or electronic design software.
  • Ability to interpret electronic schematics, their components, and their functions.
  • Proficient in using multimeters and oscilloscopes and quick to learn other instruments.

 

Additional requirements

  • Experience with CAN tools, such as Peak, Vector, Kvaser.
  • Experience with editing, manipulating, and operating CAN Massages and Signals.
  • Ability to perform fault/tracing.
  • Ability to program in C++ and/or Python.
