What You Will Do
- Develop software solutions for Hardware in the Loop (HiL), ensuring the SW development fulfils requirements to meet high performance and reliability expectations.
- Execute and report automated tests and provide feedback to the design team.
- Collaborate with hardware and mechanical engineering teams to develop complex setups for the Hardware in the Loop validations.
- Implement algorithms and control strategies to integrate our Simulink cell models in the hardware in the loop.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and regulations for battery management and safety.
- Perform system analysis and provide recommendations for software and hardware improvements to enhance battery performance and efficiency based on test results.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in battery technology testing, software testing methodologies, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster innovation, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the company's technical roadmap.
- Be part of SW team in charge of the validation and testing as part of Software development.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years in automotive software testing engineering.
- Proven experience in test cases definition.
- Proven experience in test plan scheduling.
- Proven experience in real time libraries in Simulink.
- Proficiency in C, Matlab, Simulink
- Experience with software development tools and version control systems (Git, GitHub, etc.)
- Experience with automated software testing, including unitary, integration and qualification verification.
- English language proficiency.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Speedgoat devices.
- Familiarity with electric vehicle (EV) technology.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, or Ethernet.
- Experience in Model Base Desing with MATLAB .
- Familiarity with control algorithms in the electrification industry.
- Experience in Software Requirements definition.
- Experience in ISO26262.
- Experience with ASPICE.
- Spanish language proficiency.
