End User Support Engineer

We are looking for a skilled IT professional to join our team and help expand our capacity to support Apadmi's growing user base across the UK and Europe, ensuring efficient service delivery and comprehensive support for all users.

The IT department at Apadmi is responsible for supporting the company’s IT infrastructure and software systems. The team collaborates with various departments to ensure that end users receive effective service delivery both on-site and remotely.

The department plays a crucial role in supporting Apadmi's 300+ users in both the UK and Europe, enabling them to carry out their day-to-day tasks efficiently. The team is dedicated to providing comprehensive support, encompassing all end users from the initial level to the third level.

This new role will be essential in expanding the team’s capacity to meet the needs of our growing user base both in the UK and beyond. 

You will provide IT support across platforms, manage the joiners, movers, leavers process, and ensure SLA compliance. Maintain tools, hardware, infrastructure, and system health, create documentation, liaise with providers, and drive efficiency through emerging technologies.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Provide on-site IT support and ensure effective service delivery both remotely and in person.
  • manage the joiners, movers, and leavers process effectively.
  • Resolve service desk tickets promptly and within SLA timeframes.
  • Support a mixed-platform desktop estate (Mac, Windows, Linux).
  • Assist with organisation-wide tools and software, including G Suite, Atlassian, and Slack.
  • Conduct regular hardware checks and maintain meeting room equipment.
  • Maintain systems, including backups, updates, antivirus, and infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Monitor system health to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation for internal processes and end-users.
  • Liaise with external IT providers and adopt new technologies as required.
