Senior Flutter Developer

What you’ll be working on

As a Flutter developer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality mobile solutions across diverse industries, from finance and e-commerce to healthcare and navigation. You’ll collaborate closely in a cross-functional team to bring ideas to life and develop features the way you think is best.

Your responsibilities:

• Build cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter, with a focus on performance, accessibility, and user experience
• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define and deliver thoughtful, user-centered features
• Contribute to system architecture and technical planning across the front end and back end
• Ensure seamless integration between mobile applications and cloud-based services
• Continuously improve performance, accessibility, and reliability across the stack
• Actively participate in sprint planning, peer reviews, and team-wide knowledge sharing

What you’ll bring to the team

• Experience developing mobile apps with Flutter and native in a commercial or production environment
  
  
• Understanding of mobile-first architecture and how to build scalable systems
  
  
• Exposure to modern development practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and agile ways of working
  
  
• Effective communicator in English (Dutch is a bonus, but not essential)

Your responsibilities:

• Build high-performance, scalable apps using Flutter and native technologies (Swift/Kotlin).
• Take full ownership of features, from architecture through to release.
• Work closely with designers, product owners, and back-end teams to create seamless experiences.
• Push the limits of mobile technology, staying ahead of industry trends.
• Improve performance and ensure apps run smoothly and efficiently.
• Work in an agile, collaborative environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• Actively contribute to shaping the backlog, as we believe the development team should influence what comes next.

Your skills & experience:

• Proven experience in mobile development with Flutter and native (Swift/Kotlin).
• Strong knowledge of mobile architecture and best practices.
• Familiarity with Firebase and Google Cloud.
• Experience working in an agile environment and understanding the full mobile development lifecycle.
• Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a bonus, but not required).
