The Role
We are hiring a Creative Technologist to join our growing team. You will work closely with the Creative Director and Head of Production, contributing actively to multi-skilled teams across concept development, design, storytelling, and experimental content. This role spans a diverse range of projects, from music videos to advertising and from long-form to experimental films. You will bring sharp ideas, structure, and direction to the table, and help bring them to life.
This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to pitches and projects, take the lead on executing creative deliverables, and help cultivate a creative culture that values originality, clarity, and speed. You will need a strong creative aesthetic, a bias for action, and demonstrable experience across visual design, storytelling, and production, particularly with AI-first workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Help execute creative development for agency-facing work, including original IP, branded content, and brand partnerships across film, episodic, and short-form media.
- Conceptualise and execute storyboards, pitch decks, animatics, and concept trailers, leveraging both AI and traditional creative tools.
- Experiment with emerging AI technologies to explore and apply innovative workflows for production, previsualisation, and post-production.
- Support the integration of AI tools across the creative pipeline: from ideation to delivery - to increase speed and expand visual possibilities.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Head of Production to shape creative solutions.
- Work alongside and support a network of freelance and in-house creatives, including writers, editors, designers, and AI creative technologists.
- Translate client briefs into compelling visual concepts and narratives, leveraging AI to deliver faster, smarter, and more immersive campaigns.
- Stay ahead of trends in content and AI, bringing fresh insights to the studio’s approach.
- Help structure and scale creative workflows to maintain efficiency without compromising experimentation.
You Should Have
- 2-4 years of experience in creative roles within agency, studio, content, or tech environments.
- A portfolio that showcases sharp conceptual thinking, strong visuals, and a clear point of view, ideally demonstrating integrated AI work.
- Strong art direction skills and an eye for storytelling across visual and motion formats.
- Experience with generative AI tools and technologies in storytelling and creative production, particularly with tools like Midjourney, Runway, Kling, Flux, Comfy AI, or similar.
- Experience working on multi-platform campaigns, digital content, and brand systems.
- Able to execute projects in fast, iterative environments.
- Confident presenting work and ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Canva, Notion and Google Slides.
- Able to balance speed and experimentation with clear creative standards.
