But what’s the role?

We are looking for an ambitious Engineering Lead to join us and our customer-facing application team, in our mission of helping organisations understand how they could be hacked - in real-time.

 

Sounds great – what will I do?

• This is a lead role, with exposure to both the backend and frontend of our customer-facing systems
• You will lead the Attack Surface Analysis Engineering team, responsible for presenting data in a meaningful or analytical way for cyber-security stakeholders to rapidly understand.
• You will also ensure that this data is usable and actionable within security-focused workflows within our customer-facing systems - enabling rapid action to be taken to security our clients
• You will work closely with our cyber-security R&D teams, and product design teams to formulate how best to present data to our clients
• You will tackle technology and data problems – how do we handle large amounts of data and give our clients control over their data and the processes behind it?

Ideal Experience

Ideally, you should have at least 5 or more years of experience:

• Leading and managing a team of engineers as we scale out the Attack Surface Analysis Engineering team
• Working with a data-heavy product, and have built an understanding of how to present data that allows for valuable insights to be rapidly extracted
• You have experience working with a cyber-security product that handled assets, vulnerabilities and associated workflows.
• You understand vulnerability management workflows, and how data is fed and used inside these environments.
• You have experience implementing strategies to enable organisations to prioritise actions based on presentation of contextual data.
• Handling data stored in both relational and non-relational database management systems
• Writing clean, testable code and being familiar with different testing strategies

Bonus Experience

It’ll also be awesome if you:

• Have experience working with data visualisation and creating intuitive components
• Have experience optimizing and working with large data sets
• Have worked in an Agile environment with a strong DevOps culture
