Sales Operations Executive – Volkswagen Passenger Cars Ireland

Due to internal progression, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Ireland is seeking a Sales Operations Executive to join the Sales team and support the ongoing delivery of national sales performance, reporting and operational execution.

This is a key role within the Sales function, responsible for the effective management of sales reporting, dealer support processes and commercial programme administration. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Sales Operations Executive will work closely with Area Sales Managers, Sales Programme Manager, internal stakeholders and the Volkswagen dealer network, acting as a core operational support to the brand. The role is highly analytical and numbers-driven, requiring strong quantitative competency and a high level of proficiency in handling and interpreting sales performance data.

The successful candidate will be commercially minded, highly organised and comfortable operating independently in a fast‑paced, performance‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Own the delivery of daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting for Volkswagen Passenger Cars Ireland
  • Produce, manage and distribute the Balanced Scorecard, supporting performance monitoring and dealer steering
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and timeliness of sales performance data across all reporting outputs
  • Support the Area Sales Managers with reporting, analysis and preparation for dealer engagement

Commercial Programmes & Dealer Support

  • Manage the administration and payment of rebate payments in line with agreed rules and controls
  • Oversee the Tactical Claims system, including validation, processing and governance of dealer submissions
  • Act as a primary point of contact for dealer queries relating to sales campaigns, offers and reporting
  • Support the execution and tracking of national sales programmes and initiatives

Dealer Engagement & Brand Support

  • Act as a central operational link between the importer and the dealer network on sales‑related topics
  • Provide clear guidance to Dealers on sales reporting, campaign mechanics and performance metrics

People & Stakeholder Management

  • Support the brand Interns, ensuring clear objectives, outputs and development
  • Work cross‑functionally with internal teams to support broader sales and commercial objectives

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Third level qualification in Business, Finance or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and commercial capability, with a high level of attention to detail, particularly when administering high-value rebate payments and Tactical Claims
  • Experience in a sales, commercial or operational role within the motor industry or a related sector
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence dealing directly with internal stakeholders and Dealers
  • Results oriented, proactive and comfortable operating in a performance‑driven environment
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage deadlines and competing demands
  • Full, clean driving licence
