About the Role

 

The Manager of Renewals Systems Engineers at Veeam leads a regional team through industry change, strengthening Veeam’s market presence and positioning the company as a leader in data management solutions. The role provides strategic and technical direction across the region, driving revenue through post-sales and customer success initiatives while ensuring effective adoption of Veeam solutions. Success requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple post-sales initiatives, and a focus on delivering clear customer value and an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive recurrent and upsell revenue to contribute to the continuous growth of Veeam by providing the best customer product experience. 
  • Align and execute the renewals strategy. 
  • Take part in hiring, onboarding, and integrating new hires into the team distributed across various countries within the region. Create and implement onboarding strategies for new hires. 
  • Consistently focus on building and maintaining Systems Engineer team excellence with ongoing attention to attracting, developing, and retaining a diverse, motivated, and engaged team. 
  • Work with the Renewals department leadership team to ensure technical post-sales objectives are met, including the development and implementation of successful post-sales/technical campaigns. 
  • Collaborate with different departments internally to ensure the best customer product experience and continuously generate process improvements. 
  • Stabilize and adapt team strategies and processes to accommodate expanding verticals. 
  • Define/refine KPIs as measures of talent quality and team success. 
  • Evaluate and expand training resources for the team. 
  • Nurture a positive team environment, in alignment with Veeam's Core Values. 
  • Develop capacity planning models to ensure the team can meet expectations for current and future needs. 
  • Drive positive change within the department, seeking to maximize overall departmental performance through analysis and process improvement. 
  • Strengthen the infrastructure within the team for long-term scalability and client satisfaction in a constantly evolving work environment. 
  • Lead by example and coach team members by sharing best practices from one's own experience in a leadership role. 
  • Monitor and measure team progress against the planned metrics and recommend changes as needed. 
  • Develop a Culture of Trust. 
  • Build a service reputation. 

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to lead a team, providing motivation and clear direction to meet expectations by instilling accountability for quality, a sense of urgency, and deepening customer relationships. 
  • Proven ability to influence and mentor others in a technology-focused environment. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and develop strong cross-functional relationships, especially with Operations and Renewals/Sales functions. 
  • Deep understanding of customer management practices, solutions, and all aspects of sales support processes. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and environments. 
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment. must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter and be able to learn new technologies quickly. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, negotiation skills, and presentation skills, and the ability to influence and communicate professionally across all functional lines. 
  • Demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise in Veeam products, especialy Veeam Data Platform. 
  • Possess general knowledge around data centers, servers, storage systems, networks, operating systems, backup software, etc. 
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware/Hyper-V/KVM is beneficial. 
  • Ability to travel. 
  • Fluency in English.

Compensation Transparency

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.

$202,000 - $375,100 USD

Zone 2: Washington, California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area)

$185,100 - $343,800 USD

Zone 3: Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, New York (excluding NYC boroughs); Sales roles located in Georgia, Ohio, and Arizona

$168,300 - $312,600 USD

Zone 4: All other US locations

$146,400 - $271,900 USD
