The Inside Solutions Architect/Engineer would report to the Senior Director of Solutions Architecture for Americas. This role within the pre-sales engineering organization is responsible for working closely with the SE team, the Architects team and the Sales department to help build and maintain a world-class demonstration facility hosted in Atlanta-area. In addition, they may be expected to help inform, educate, and influence partners, resellers and end users of our product offerings in the context of the demonstration facility.
Responsibilities
- Creation of content for compelling demonstrations to support Veeam messaging.
- Be part of a global team to manage and maintain the demonstration facility.
- Be on the cutting-edge of learning and implementing new Veeam products before anyone else Support lead generation and internal education activities such as events, webinars, user groups, etc.
- Collaborate with the sales and pre-sales org to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements for the demonstration facility.
- Independently provide technical expertise and hands-on management on a range of Veeam and ancillary technologies, covering all aspects of the datacenter.
- Work closely with Product Management to provide feedback.
- Providing pre-sales engineers support as they position Veeam software evaluations and execute Proof of Value projects
- Author reference architecture and other artifacts.
- Implement, configure and maintain technologies incorporated in the demo facility.
Qualifications
- The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, technically competent Engineer with an ability to partner with other groups within the architecture, sales and supporting organizations to drive the business forward.
- Strong technical skills including VMware, Hyper-V, scripting, cloud and storage.
- Networking in complex scenarios
- Network and Infrastructure Security in complex environments
- Experience with orchestration and workflow tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills including white boarding.
- Business writing, including reference architecture and RFx responses
- Ability to self-motivate and earn support from a diverse corporation.
- Strong inter-personal, communication and management capabilities.
The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
United States of America Pay Range
$86,000 - $122,800 USD
