The Role
As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 8+ years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

- Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus)
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes (AKS) and related tools such as Helm, Skaffold, and Kubernetes manifests.
- Containerize applications using Docker or Buildpacks.
- Provision and configure Azure Virtual Machines (VMs).
- Work extensively with Azure services
- Provision and maintain multiple cloud environments (Dev, QA, Prod) on Azure or other platforms.
- Implement security best practices during environment setup and provisioning.
- Set up monitoring and alerting on Azure cloud resources.
- Monitor and troubleshoot .NET containerized applications.
- Utilize Azure CLI for scripting and automation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless deployments and operations.
Must have
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure Cloud services
- Proven experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Hands-on experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and the Kubernetes ecosystem (Helm, Skaffold, manifests)
- Proficient in Docker or Buildpack-based containerization
- Experience provisioning and managing Azure Virtual Machines (VMs)
- Solid understanding of deploying and managing .NET applications in containers
- Familiarity with key Azure services like:
- Azure Files
- Azure SQL
- Azure Redis
- Event Grid
- Job Schedulers
- Experience setting up Dev/QA/Prod environments in cloud platforms
- Strong knowledge of cloud security practices and secure provisioning
- Hands-on with monitoring and alerting tools for Azure
- Proficiency with Azure CLI for automation and scripting
- Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-native application issues in production environments
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
Nice to have
- Experience managing print queues and utilities such as RPM and AnyQueue
- Basic understanding of Azure networking and SMB file shares
- Experience in troubleshooting and monitoring containerized applications on Azure/AKS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
