Director, R&D - India

We are seeking an experienced Director of R&D to lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Full Stack Software Engineers. This is a leadership position that requires a strong technical foundation, people management skills, and a vision for innovation. 🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Build & Lead: Hire, train, and mentor a team of Full Stack Engineers specializing in Vue.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.

• Technical Strategy: Define and drive the technical roadmap, ensuring best practices in architecture, development, and deployment.

• People & Culture: Foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture with a strong emphasis on ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to align technical efforts with company objectives.

• Innovation & R&D: Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive initiatives that enhance our product capabilities.

• Process Optimization: Implement Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to streamline development cycles and improve efficiency.

• Quality & Performance: Oversee code reviews, performance tuning, and system scalability to ensure robust, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 8+ years in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Technical Expertise: Strong background in full-stack development (Vue.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL).

• Leadership & Mentorship: Proven ability to build, coach, and lead engineering teams.

• Agile Mindset: Familiarity with Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution.

• Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills to engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
