We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Data Analyst to deliver reporting and analytics that drive business decisions.
How your role will look like:
- You collaborate with business owners to understand their objectives, strategies, and KPI requirements to translate them into data solutions and actionable insights
- You design and implement business logic, data models and visualizations by using various methods and technologies such as SQL, Python and BI tools
- You contribute to a valuable, robust and performant data platform by e.g. optimizing code, debugging anomalies and writing documentation
You will be great for this position if you have
- At least 8 years of working experience in a Data Analytics environment, ideally in a similar business (Online / eCommerce)
- Strong general knowledge of “how to work with data”, e.g. statistical methods, data preparation & visualization, transfer from data via analyses into actionable insights
- Advanced data analytics experience with using e.g. Python or R and very good SQL skills
- Experience in data modelling and BI-Tool experience, ideally PowerBi and understanding of data architecture concepts
- Experience in working with Google Analytics / Matomo data
- Experience in Git
- Solid understanding of tracking concepts (frontend/backend)
- Solid A/B testing experience
- Strong ability to work both independent and as a part of the team
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Well structured, detail-oriented working style with a passion for efficient documentation
- Desire to succeed as a team by creating synergies over individual success
- Capable of outlining and presenting complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner
- Great understanding of eCommerce businesses (products & challenges)
- Very good language skills in English and optionally also in German
