Account Manager, APAC

Copenhagen, Denmark

We are looking for an Account Manager to lead Tekla's wholesale business during a period of significant regional growth. This is a new role, created to centralise our regional presence, champion commercial outcomes across our most established accounts, and build brand awareness across a diverse set of consultant-led, distributor-led, directly managed markets, both emerging and established.

Reporting directly to the Senior Wholesale Manager at Head Office in Copenhagen, you will own the budget and outcomes for the region and collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams.

This role can be based in Hong Kong or Singapore, working with a high degree of autonomy, or in Copenhagen, London or Paris, with frequent travel across the region.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Regional account management and network coordination

  • Own the commercial relationship for accounts across Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, ANZ, and Southeast Asia, including distributors, sales agents, major department stores and premium Etail partners. Lead structured business reviews and deliver consistent revenue growth across the region.
  • Develop a responsive and opportunistic sales approach that adapts to market signals, customer readiness, and seasonal cycles. Support presales at key markets and replenishments in season, tailoring strategies to regional peaks and trends.
  • Coordinate with our Commercial Managers and other internal stakeholders. Manage day-to-day activity with our external consultant, agents, and any additional stakeholders in the network.

Account development

  • Build a structured approach across established and emerging markets. Identify commercial priorities and act on them, balancing commercial and brand objectives.
  • Identify, approach, and onboard new accounts. Champion success through ongoing commercial oversight, including monitoring sell-through, training, merchandising and relationship building.
  • Balance growth against positioning, charting a course for the right combination of image, volume, and strategic accounts through deep market knowledge.

Reporting

  • Own and report on the regional revenue trajectory and P&L monthly and quarterly.
  • Track account performance, pipeline, and account-level growth through our internal tools and CRM (HubSpot).

We would love to hear from you if you are, or have:

  • 5+ years of experience in wholesale account management or B2B commercial roles, within premium fashion, homeware, or lifestyle.
  • Demonstrated experience managing distributors and agents across multiple APAC markets.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and self-directed, comfortable operating with autonomy across time zones.
  • Curious and analytical, comfortable with data and financial detail.
  • Experienced with CRM and pipeline tools.
  • Fluent in English plus one of Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
  • An affinity with Tekla's approach to considered design, material-led product, and a long view on how brand is built through wholesale partnerships.

Given the unique nature of this role, our preferred candidate is someone who is already based in Hong Kong or Singapore, with the autonomy to work independently across the region, or based in Copenhagen, London or Paris, with willingness to travel frequently, up to 60% of working hours, and working rights or visa eligibility that support frequent travel across these markets.

We review applications and hold interviews on an ongoing basis, with the aim of welcoming the successful candidate to the role in November 2026.
