What is the role?

We’re looking for a Content Strategy Lead to join our Brand & Content team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for defining and executing our content strategy across channels to support brand awareness, organic growth, and creator engagement.

You’ll shape the strategy that powers our blog, newsletter, social media, and video content—ensuring everything we publish is aligned with our brand story, serves our community of creators, and supports business goals like brand awareness, lead generation and customer acquisition.

This role reports to the Head of Brand & Content and works closely with our Growth Marketing, Product, and Customer teams. You’ll directly manage our content writer, social media manager, and freelance or in-house video creator(s).

We’re a hybrid team and encourage NYC-based team members to work from our office 1–2 days per week.

In this role you'll:

  • Lead and mentor a small but mighty content team (currently a writer and social media manager), helping them grow in their roles and deliver impactful work
  • Build and own a cohesive, scalable content strategy that ties back to our brand narrative and drives organic growth
  • Oversee content development across formats and platforms (blog, newsletter, social, and video) with an emphasis on engaging, educational content that helps creators succeed
  • Oversee and optimize content production and distribution workflows to ensure efficient, high-quality execution across platforms and channels
  • Drive growth across social channels, specifically, and maximize earned media opportunities on social in close collaboration with the Creator Partnerships team
  • Drive innovation in our content mix, experimenting with new formats like interactive tools, how-to resources, short- and long-form video expansion, and newsletter storytelling
  • Collaborate with SEO and growth marketing to ensure our content is discoverable, data-informed, and aligned with top-of-funnel and conversion goals
  • Work cross-functionally with teams like Creator Partnerships, Product, and Customer Success to ensure we’re producing the right content for the right audiences at the right time
  • Track and report on performance, define KPIs, and use data to iterate and improve our content strategy over time
  • Bring strategic thinking and creative ideas to our editorial approach, connecting the dots between audience needs, business priorities, and platform best practices

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy and/or content marketing
  • Experience leading or managing a team of content creators and social media professionals
  • Strong portfolio of multi-channel content work—ideally including blogs, newsletters, social, and video
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable content plans
  • Excellent writing, editing, communication, and leadership skills
  • Highly capable of managing a content calendar, prioritizing projects, and giving feedback
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
  • Passion for helping creators, entrepreneurs, and small business owners grow their impact

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in SaaS or the creator economy
  • Strong familiarity with how AI and large language models (LLMs) are shaping the future of content and SEO
  • Experience representing a brand across social, webinars, and community-facing events

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
