Product Owner

We are seeking an experienced Global Product Owner to operate at the intersection of Cloud Infrastructure, Data Enablement, and Tax Technology. In this role, you will lead the development, maintenance, and implementation of a Global Cloud strategy while ensuring the scaling of data-enabled solutions across a global network.

The ideal candidate bridges the gap between technical Azure cloud expertise and business domain requirements. You will manage a diverse portfolio of products, navigating various levels of organizational maturity and balancing technical insights with political sensitivity to align stakeholders worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the end-to-end product roadmap, including backlogs, features, epics, and user stories. Lead the implementation of cloud enablement strategies and data-driven tax use cases.

• Stakeholder & People Management: Act as the primary bridge between business SMEs (Tax/Compliance) and technology teams (DevOps/Cloud Architects). Manage expectations horizontally and vertically across global jurisdictions.

• Cloud Enablement: Support the migration of workloads to the cloud and manage the lifecycle of applications within a global tenant, ensuring optimal engineering and InnerSource environments.

• Business Transformation: Translate complex tax and compliance needs into structured technical requirements. Identify key data elements and business rules to align technology with business outcomes.

• Delivery Coordination: Facilitate Agile processes (refinements, planning, reviews) and coordinate cross-functional alignment. Manage service and technical debt for systems within your scope.

• Scaling & Playbooking: Capture reusable outputs, business logic, and learnings to develop playbooks and onboarding materials for broader adoption across the global organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 5–8 years of experience in Product Ownership or Business Analysis within a large-scale, global environment.

• Technical Domain: Proven experience with Azure Cloud environments and data concepts (quality, structuring, reuse, and governance).

• Business Domain: Strong background in translating business/compliance needs (ideally within Tax or Finance) into structured delivery requirements.

• Agile Expertise: Extensive experience working in Agile delivery environments and driving outcome-oriented progress.

• Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems into practical guidance.

• Tools: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and the M365 Suite.
