People Operations Specialist – Mobility

As a People Operations Specialist – Mobility, you will be part of the HR Operations team, managing the end-to-end international mobility experience for assignees and ensuring compliant, well-coordinated relocations across multiple countries. This role plays a key part in supporting the organisation's global workforce strategy by keeping international moves smooth, compliant, and cost-effective.
Fixed-Term Maternity Cover (mid October 2026 – mid April 2027)
What the role involves
Assignment Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of international assignments, long-term postings, permanent transfers, and remote work arrangements
- Act as the primary point of contact for assignees throughout their relocation journey, providing guidance and resolving issues promptly
- Coordinate with immigration vendors, tax advisers, and relocation service providers to deliver timely, compliant support
- Prepare and maintain offer letters, cost projections, and reviews in partnership with the Rewards team
Compliance & Policy
- Ensure compliance with immigration requirements across all operating countries, including work permit and visa applications
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting cross-border employment and update internal processes accordingly
- Support the development and continuous improvement of global mobility policies and frameworks
- Maintain accurate records of assignees, immigration statuses, and compliance documentation in Workday
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to plan and support international moves aligned with workforce strategy
- Provide clear and proactive communication to assignees and their families on timelines, entitlements, and expectations
- Liaise with local HR teams in host countries to facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding for international employees
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Update dashboards and reports on assignment volumes and costs to support budget tracking
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve the assignee experience
What we are looking for
- 3–5 years of experience in global mobility, international HR, or immigration compliance
- Solid working knowledge of immigration frameworks within countries such as Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, and Croatia
- Experience managing a portfolio of international assignments across multiple countries simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance topics clearly to non-specialist stakeholders
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors
