Product Designer Multichannel

We are looking for a Product Designer — Multichannel to join Super's Multichannel design team and help shape the experiences that power Super's retail presence. In this role, you will work across a wide range of touchpoints — from self-service betting terminals and digital displays in shops, to the internal tools retail staff use every day, to the mobile app relied on in-store. You will work closely with senior designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and retail operations teams to contribute to clear, functional, and well-crafted experiences across all of these channels.

What the role involves

  • Contribute to the design of customer-facing experiences across Super's retail touchpoints — self-service betting terminals (SSBTs), in-shop TV displays, mobile apps, and print.
  • Contribute to the design of internal tools used by Super's retail staff, helping make them clear, efficient, and easy to use in a fast-paced shop environment.
  • Create well-organised, clean design files using established design systems and following Super's visual guidelines.
  • Design individual screens and flows, exploring different solutions and weighing the pros and cons of each approach.
  • Share work early and often to gather feedback, and incorporate it quickly and constructively.
  • Contribute to QA by reviewing implemented designs and flagging issues with the support of senior designers and engineering counterparts.
  • Build awareness of retail customers and staff users — understand their context, environment, and needs, and bring that understanding into your design work.
  • Use AI tools consistently to support everyday design tasks, including research synthesis, copy variants, and ideation, developing a reliable and responsible practice over time.

What we are looking for

  • Some product design experience, through work, internships, or strong personal projects, with a portfolio demonstrating early design thinking and an eye for quality.
  • A working understanding of design fundamentals — layout, hierarchy, typography, colour, and interaction patterns.
  • Familiarity with designing for different screen sizes and contexts, and openness to learning new form factors such as terminals and large displays.
  • Working proficiency in Figma.
  • A good understanding of design system principles — knowing what a design system is, when and how to use it, and keeping files clean and well-documented.
  • Awareness of accessibility basics, including contrast, touch targets, and readability, with a genuine interest in designing inclusively.
  • A strong growth mindset — actively seeks feedback, acts on it quickly, and shows consistent curiosity about design and the industry.
  • Good communication within a team — shares progress regularly, explains design decisions clearly, and keeps the team aligned.
  • Reliability and ownership — follows through on commitments and takes responsibility for work from start to finish.
  • Emerging use of AI tools in the design process, with developing good habits around prompting and output review.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for physical or non-standard digital surfaces — kiosks, terminals, large displays, print, or similar.
  • Experience designing internal or operational tools for frontline staff.
  • Exposure to the retail, hospitality, betting, or gaming industry.
  • Experience with or interest in print design and brand guidelines.
  • Basic experience with motion design or animated content for digital displays.
  • Familiarity with responsible gambling design considerations.
