THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and organised, native Arabic and English speaker, to conduct live virtual pre-investment interviews in both languages with accuracy, objectivity, and discretion. These interviews will be held with potential high net worth individual (HNWI) investors as part of a due diligence process, with an objective of verifying their identities and understanding their occupations and sources of wealth along with their investment motivations. In this role, you will collaborate and form part of our administration and operations team, working closely with our global Corporate Intelligence teams, including our investment migration due diligence practice.
The ideal candidate is a team player who is adaptable, meticulous and organised with a proactive mindset toward contributing to the growth and evolution of the service and business. You will undergo structured onboarding and ongoing training covering:
a) Core interview techniques, best practices, and active listening skills
- b) System navigation and data handling,ensuring discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- c) Our end-to-end approach to managing and delivering a live interview process.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conducting professional virtual interviews: Conducting professional virtual interviews in both Arabic and English with your camera on, reading out pre-scripted questions with precision in either language to the interviewee(s), demonstrating active listening to their answers and probing effectively where necessary.
Managing the full interview lifecycle: Managing the full lifecycle of an interview from pre-interview communications to help ensure punctual attendance, to ensuring all completed interview recordings and materials are accurately stored and handled with the utmost discretion.
Communicating proactively with practitioners and stakeholders: Communicating proactively and professionally with S-RM practitioners, clients, and interviewees (investors), initially with guidance, but ultimately independently including informing practitioner teams of live interview progress and attendance and ensuring your own prompt and punctual attendance at all live interviews.
Troubleshooting and escalating issues appropriately: Identify and troubleshoot technical and methodological difficulties promptly and effectively before and during live interviews, taking initiative to resolve issues where appropriate, seeking guidance when needed, and escalating more serious concerns to the team while communicating these to S-RM practitioners for oversight.
Supporting overall interview service administration: Collaborating with the interview team in administering the overall interview service delivery and maintaining the smooth operation of the interview service including addressing any IT challenges, liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to planning meetings.
We are looking for candidates to fill this role at either our Cape Town or Kuala Lumpur office. Working hours will be set at 9am to 6pm SAST with 1 or 2 later shifts from 12pm to 9pm SAST per week if based in Cape Town or 12pm to 9pm MYT on a regular basis if based in Kuala Lumpur. We have flexible working arrangements available.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone that is able to adapt to change and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment, this person will have some or all of these skills.
- Written and spoken fluency in English and Arabic and mastery of professional communication is a must;
- Business literacy - an ability to engage with an investor’s explanation of their occupation/business interests/wealth composition and probe appropriately for clarifications;
- Cultural sensitivity - ability to build trust with interviewees, clients, colleagues, and all stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced and technology-enabled customer complaints department and/or multifaceted communication and operations role. Customer-facing experience is a plus;
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems;
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with high attention to detail;
- A proven ability to work unsupervised, with strong interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate must have permission to work in Cape Town or Kuala Lumpur by the start of their employment.
