Business Development Director (LatAm)
We are seeking a high-caliber Business Development Director to spearhead our commercial expansion across Latin America. This is a high-stakes "hunter" role designed for a strategic visionary who excels at identifying, negotiating, and closing high-value revenue opportunities in emerging markets.
You will be responsible for driving the growth of our B2B platform through turnkey solutions and Joint Ventures (JVs), while leading our diversification into high-growth verticals such as Social Gaming and Digital Entertainment. Supporting the VP of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in owning the full commercial lifecycle, from securing critical B2C market access licenses to elevating our brand presence through first-class networking and strategic PR.
Responsibilities
- Identify and close enterprise-level B2B partnerships for our turnkey platform solutions across LatAm jurisdictions
- Source and structure JV opportunities that provide strategic market entries or localized technological advantages
- Lead the "LatAm Frontier" strategy by expanding the company’s footprint into Social Gaming, eSports, and Digital Entertainment
- Assist in identifying potential regional acquisition targets that align with long-term scaling objectives
- Lead the end-to-end process of acquiring relevant market access licenses for our B2C business interests in key LatAm markets
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all new ventures meet national and local requirements
- Execute PR initiatives that position the brand as a premier B2B platform thought leader in the region
- Act as the primary face of the company at major industry conferences and private networking events to build a powerful regional ecosystem
- Support the VP in managing the total commercial function, including P&L oversight for LatAm initiatives
- Maintain a transparent sales pipeline using CRM tools to provide accurate forecasting to the executive suite
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8-10+ years of high-stakes Business Development experience in "hunter" roles within iGaming, FinTech, or SaaS
- Proven history of closing seven-figure B2B enterprise deals and complex Joint Ventures
- Extensive experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes and securing market access licenses
- Deep understanding of P&L management and revenue forecasting
- Exceptional networking skills with the ability to represent the company as a thought leader at major summits
- A strong existing network of C-suite contacts within the Latin American digital and gaming ecosystem is a significant advantage
