Team Lead Production (All Genders)

Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece

Your Mission

You lead the airframe manufacturing, assembly, and quality verification teams in Greece. You transform R&D designs into a repeatable, high-rate production line that outputs rugged, mission-ready tactical UAS. You aren't just overseeing a workshop; you are standing up the sovereign European defence manufacturing facility that produces battlefield-reliable hardware at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Shop-Floor Leadership: Establish, organize, and manage shop-floor operations across three dedicated manufacturing lines for airframes, gimbals, and powertrain.
  • Work Instructions & Translation: Translate R&D engineering release packages into standardized manufacturing work instructions (SOPs/WIs), routing sheets, and assembly jigs/tooling.
  • Personnel & Line Management: Directly line-manage our team of assembly technicians, wire harness specialists, and quality control inspectors.
  • Quality & EOL Testing: Oversee line balancing, workstation tooling, shop-floor 5S, and the complete end-of-line testing sequence to guarantee aerospace-grade build quality.
  • Throughput & Traceability: Own line throughput, production scheduling, takt time, workstation layout, and shop-floor safety (EHS); maintain rigorous traceability, serialization, and build logs.
  • DFMA Feedback Loop: Partner closely with R&D on Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA), driving iterative improvements to reduce build time and eliminate defects; collaborate with Quality Engineering on NCR and CAPA.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years in production, manufacturing engineering, or assembly operations within aerospace, automotive, or high-reliability electromechanical industries.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a regulated production environment.
  • Expertise in composite structures, precision electro-mechanical assembly, harness manufacturing (IPC/WHMA-A-620), and PCB handling (IPC-A-610).
  • Practical implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality standards.
  • Professional working proficiency in English; Greek or German is a valuable advantage.
  • Must be a citizen of a NATO member state (due to export control and security regulations).
