Junior Hardware Development Engineer (All Genders)

Your Mission

You will be actively involved in the entire hardware development cycle for Battery Charging Equipment, with a focus on prototyping and supporting the transition into serial production.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prototyping & Debugging: Assembling and thoroughly debugging hardware prototypes.

  • PCB Design: Drafting, designing, and optimizing PCB layouts for new functional modules.

  • Component Selection: Evaluating and selecting suitable electronic and electromechanical components (e.g., connectors, cables, and functional assemblies) based on high-level system requirements.

  • Integration: Integrating modules into the overall system in close collaboration with Embedded Software Development Engineers. 

  • Testing & Documentation: Defining, coordinating, and documenting End-of-Line testing procedures to ensure product reliability and quality.

 

Required Skills

  • Education: A completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.

  • Practical Background: Experience in prototyping hardware projects, including soldering, crimping, and 3D printing. A relevant apprenticeship completed prior to or alongside your studies is a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of PCB design and CAD layout tools. Experience in embedded software development is a plus.

  • Work Style: An independent, structured, and proactive approach to work.

  • Mindset: A strong, hands-on personality with a passion for building, measuring, and systematically troubleshooting real hardware.
