What makes RightShip a great place to work at:

RightShip is an equal opportunity employer, and we champion diversity. Our teams are composed of individuals from different geographies, cultures, religions, ethnicities, races, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and generations. We believe that a diversity of experiences makes us stronger—as individuals, as communities and as an organization.

Don’t meet every single requirement of this role? Still apply! Research tells us that that women and underrepresented groups are less likely to apply unless they meet every single requirement.  At RightShip we believe that the right hire is someone who makes an addition to our culture, rather than someone who fits in and conforms to our status quo. We want to add team members who not only value RightShip standards and workplace culture, but also bring an aspect of diversity that positively contributes to our work environment. If you are excited about this role, or about our company in general, we would love to hear from you!

  • Coordinate cross-functional execution involving AI engineers, data scientists, product managers, SMEs, and design.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and responsible AI.

Cross-Functional Product & Delivery Leadership

  • Partner with Product Managers from discovery through delivery, ensuring AI solutions align with real customer needs.

  • Translate business problems into clear AI opportunities, with structured evaluation, success metrics, and value hypotheses.

Technical Guidance & AI Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers and specialists, guiding experimentation, prioritisation, and technical direction.
  • Establish strong engineering practices for rapid prototyping, model evaluation, and iteration.
  • Support capability development, knowledge sharing, and continuous upskilling within the AI team.
  • Drive hands-on experimentation when required (prototyping, prompt engineering, testing RAG patterns, evaluating fine-tuning opportunities).

Execution & Delivery Management

  • Establish repeatable processes for experiment tracking, model reviews, and deployment checkpoints.
  • Facilitate alignment between Product, Engineering, and AI teams to ensure timely and coherent delivery.
  • Guide the design of human-in-the-loop workflows, annotation needs, and model feedback loops.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement

  • Work closely with SMEs to transform domain knowledge into model-ready guidance, evaluation rubrics, and test scenarios.
  • Communicate AI program outcomes and updates to senior leadership, ensuring clarity of progress, risks, and value delivery.
  • Enable internal adoption of new AI features, including training for product, commercial, and operations teams.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
