About the role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Finance Business Partner is part of the global Corporate Services team and is responsible for providing professional financial analysis and commercial insight to business and functional leaders. The role supports informed decision-making by preparing forecasts, budgets, and performance reports, and by translating financial data into actionable recommendations that align with the company’s short- and long-term objectives.
Major Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial plans for assigned functions.
- Prepare and reconcile departmental financial reports and variance analyses against budget/forecast.
- Maintain and improve financial models to support scenario analysis and business cases.
Business Partnering
- Provide financial insights to leaders on cost management, resource planning, and performance metrics.
- Translate data into meaningful business recommendations that improve efficiency and margin.
- Collaborate across functions to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure financial alignment.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and commentary for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data submissions in Workday Adaptive Planning and other systems.
- Support internal control and compliance requirements within corporate finance policies.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with senior business leaders across departments to strengthen understanding of financial performance.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with senior business leaders to explain variances and trends.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor of Business / Commerce
- Chartered Accountant/CPA/CIMA or equivalent
- Experience working within a small or medium sized international businesses is highly regarded, but not mandatory
- Experience supporting Commercial Teams in pricing and the development of business cases is highly regarded, but not mandatory
- Experience (intermediate level or higher) with Workday Adaptive Planning is highly regarded, but not mandatory
- Advanced excel skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
