What makes RightShip a great place to work at:

RightShip is an equal opportunity employer, and we champion diversity. Our teams are composed of individuals from different geographies, cultures, religions, ethnicities, races, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and generations. We believe that a diversity of experiences makes us stronger—as individuals, as communities and as an organization.

Don’t meet every single requirement of this role? Still apply! Research tells us that that women and underrepresented groups are less likely to apply unless they meet every single requirement.  At RightShip we believe that the right hire is someone who makes an addition to our culture, rather than someone who fits in and conforms to our status quo. We want to add team members who not only value RightShip standards and workplace culture, but also bring an aspect of diversity that positively contributes to our work environment. If you are excited about this role, or about our company in general, we would love to hear from you!

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications and working closely with the wider marketing and commercial teams, this role helps translate business objectives into impactful marketing programs — from concept and planning through to delivery and reporting.

The ideal candidate combines strong organizational skills with the ability to think strategically and deliver tactically across multiple channels and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Planning

  • Drive RightShip’s global events strategy, including developing and maintaining large-scale event target lists aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end event communication lifecycle — from email, web, and social media campaigns to post-event nurturing.
  • Identify and assess key third-party industry events that align with commercial, advocacy, and brand goals.
  • Conceptualise, plan, and execute RightShip-owned events such as roundtables, forums, webinars, and product launches.

Marketing Program Execution

  • Maintain and manage the global events and webinar calendar, coordinating closely with regional commercial teams.
  • Execute live, virtual, and hybrid events, ensuring a seamless experience from concept design through delivery and post-event analysis.
  • Collaborate with the creative and digital marketing teams to develop event assets — including landing pages, emails, social media content, invitations, exhibition stands, and print collateral.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Product, and Operations) to gain alignment and deliver on shared event and campaign objectives.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and event organisers to ensure all activities are delivered on time, on budget, and to brand standards.
  • Research and evaluate the effectiveness of both owned and third-party events to inform future strategy.
  • Maintain an event and webinar KPI dashboard and support quarterly reporting on performance.

 Lead Management & Reporting

  • Implement and oversee lead capture and follow-up processes in collaboration with Sales Enablement and Revenue Operations.
  • Track, analyse, and report on event and campaign performance — including registrations, attendance, engagement, leads generated, and pipeline influence.
  • Provide post-event insights and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a liaison between Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure event objectives and messaging are aligned.
  • Brief and enable the sales team for pre- and post-event follow-up, ensuring consistency in messaging and lead management.
  • Support coordination for content launches and digital marketing initiatives linked to events or campaigns.

Event Logistics & Vendor Management

  • Manage all logistical aspects of events — including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budget tracking, swag and collateral orders, and event communications.
  • Ensure flawless execution of all event deliverables and manage on-site or virtual operations when required.

Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Work with the Digital Marketing and Commercial teams to collect and analyse campaign analytics for flagship events.
  • Leverage tools and dashboards to track performance, measure ROI, and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Contribute to quarterly marketing KPI tracking and performance reporting for leadership review.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B marketing, event management, or integrated campaign delivery.
  • Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and execute multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of lead management processes and event-driven marketing funnels.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
