Operations Manager - Rental Services
Reporting to: Managing Director
Location: Newcastle (operating 2 days a week in the office)
As the UK’s favourite property platform, Rightmove aims to give everyone the belief that they can make their move. To help us achieve this, we’re looking for an Operations Manager to join our team.

Join Rightmove’s Rental Services team as our Rental Services Operations Manager, where you’ll play a crucial role in driving efficiency, forecasting resources, and enhancing performance through data insights. Working cross-functionally, you’ll help shape operational strategies that align with our wider business goals, ensuring we continue to lead the market in rental services. What you’ll be doing
- Own and deliver operational plans, performance MI and resource forecasting across all of Rental Services – Referencing, Insurance products and Tenant Services.
- Play a key role in the Rental Services Leadership team, steering discussions and decisions with data, insight and operational certainty.
- Driving process improvements and efficiency initiatives to enhance service delivery across all areas.
- Lead the operational elements of new tech deployment/ product related evolutions across the business.
- Analysing performance data to identify opportunities and mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities through process change and better insight.
- Monitoring KPIs and generating insights through effective data management.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise business operations.
- Manage projects from start to finish, working across the operation with key stakeholders.
- Aligning operational improvements with Rightmove’s strategy and objectives.
- Ensure business, consumer and customer needs are prioritised in decision making.
Who you are
- A commercially minded individual contributor who identifies opportunities to improve revenue and performance, with accountability for end‑to‑end delivery.
- Organised and self-disciplined, driven to proactively improve business operations, reporting quality and accuracy and general business success.
- Highly proficient in Excel and data analysis.
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Experience leading, driving and concluding projects and final outcomes
- Competent in playing a strong role with senior leadership
- A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- A confident project manager, seeing through change and transformation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Confident in facilitating discussions and driving consensus within teams.
