🚀 Why This Role?
As a Supply Chain Manager at QS Vets, you will be a key player in shaping our logistics and supply chain strategy. You will oversee procurement, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring seamless operations across these areas. Leading a remote team of three supply chain coordinators, you will optimize supply chain processes and expand the team to support our rapid growth.

You will be responsible for developing new logistics hubs, driving operational improvements, and managing key supplier relationships. As a member of the leadership team, you will have a significant impact on the company’s strategic direction and growth.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to optimize inventory management and procurement.
- Oversee logistics operations for purchasing and sales orders, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with suppliers, 3PL providers, and transporters to improve service levels, reduce lead times, and enhance cost efficiency.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget, covering transport, warehousing, and personnel costs.
- Drive operational improvements, including the development of new logistics hubs across Europe and other regions.
- Ensure compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards and maintain an audit-proof quality management system.
- Lead, coach, and develop the remote logistics team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Analyze supply chain metrics and use data to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with company goals and growth plans.
👋 Who You Are:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or operations, ideally in an international or high-growth environment.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of supply chain management, including procurement, inventory optimization, and logistics operations. Familiarity with GDP standards is a plus.
- Data-Driven: Skilled in analyzing supply chain data and using it to optimize processes and drive improvements.
- Hands-On & Proactive: You have a hands-on attitude and are willing to dive into the details while thinking strategically about the future.
- Problem-Solver: Calm under pressure and solutions-oriented in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Leadership: Proven leadership experience, with strong communication and coaching skills to inspire and empower your team.
- Languages: Fluent in English (both written and verbal). Fluency in Dutch is a plus, but not required.
