Trading Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Trade & Platform Operations

• Monitor trading platforms to ensure uptime and execution quality
• Oversee trade flow, execution, and pricing in real time
• Identify and escalate execution issues, slippage anomalies, or pricing gaps
• Manage trading sessions, market openings/closings, and instrument configurations

Liquidity & Pricing

• Monitor liquidity feeds and ensure competitive spreads and depth
• Liaise with liquidity providers to resolve pricing or execution issues
• Analyze spread widening, latency, and execution quality (markouts, slippage)
• Assist in optimizing routing and aggregation settings

Risk & Exposure Monitoring

• Monitor client positions, exposure, and overall risk in real time
• Support hedging strategies and execution of risk mitigation actions
• Identify unusual trading activity or potential abuse (e.g., arbitrage, latency exploitation)

Trade Lifecycle Management

• Handle trade adjustments, corrections, and dispute investigations
• Ensure accuracy of trade records and reconciliation

Incident Management

• Act as first responder for trading-related incidents
• Investigate platform issues, outages, or abnormal market behavior
• Coordinate with tech teams and external providers to resolve issues quickly

Requirements

 

Experience & Skills

• 2+ years experience in trading operations, dealing desk, or brokerage environment
• Strong understanding of FX, CFDs, or crypto markets
• Familiarity with trading platforms

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Problem-solving mindset with quick decision-making ability
• Excellent communication skills

Working Conditions

• Shift-based role (aligned with global market hours)
• On-call availability for critical incidents may be required
