Taiwan

As OpenNet continues to scale its technology organisation in Taiwan, we are looking for an experienced HR operator to act as the people leader and key point of connection between the Taiwan organisation and the global HR function. You will manage a local team of HR and TA professionals, supporting the OpenNet team to deliver on our ongoing growth goals.

You will translate global priorities into locally effective solutions, bringing local insight, context and feedback into global HR decision-making. Working closely with Taiwan engineering leadership, global technology leaders and as part of the HR leadership team, you will ensure the Taiwan organisation remains high-performing and maintains a world class culture 

What you’ll be doing

HR Leadership, Business Partnering & Global Alignment

  • Act as the senior HR partner to Taiwan-based engineering and technology teams
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between Taiwan leadership and the global HR team
  • Translate global people strategy, frameworks and programmes into high-quality local delivery
  • Represent Taiwan perspectives, needs and insights within global HR discussions and decisions
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across Taiwan and global leadership teams

Engagement, Culture & Retention

  • Diagnose engagement and retention risks using data and feedback 
  • Deliver local engagement and culture initiatives that align with global priorities and expectations
  • Champion OpenNet’s values and ways of working, reinforcing consistency with global culture

Performance, Development & Progression

  • Lead the local delivery of global people programmes, including:
    • Performance review cycles
    • Promotions and progression frameworks
    • Compensation and reward reviews
  • Ensure global frameworks are applied consistently while reflecting local context and legal requirements
  • Identify talent and succession risks and partner with leaders on mitigation plans
  • Support career development and internal mobility within Taiwan and across the global tech organisation

Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Partner with global Talent Acquisition on hiring strategy and workforce planning for Taiwan
  • Ensure local hiring decisions align with global standards, levelling and bar-raising principles
  • Strengthen local employer branding while maintaining alignment with global messaging
  • Support leaders to deliver a high-quality, consistent candidate experience

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in a senior HR Lead or HR Business Partner role, supporting engineering or technology teams
  • Proven experience operating across local and global HR environments
  • Strong experience working in international or scaling organisations
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent communication skills
  • Strong grounding in performance management, employee relations and manager coaching
  • Experience delivering global people frameworks in a local context
