As a senior member of the PTP team, this role sits within Accounting & Reporting and works closely with procurement, finance, operational stakeholders, and suppliers to support efficient end-to-end AP operations. You will play an important role in ensuring invoice processing, vendor account management, query resolution, and payment activities are handled accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

This role matters because it helps keep core financial operations running smoothly while also improving how the business works at scale. Your work will support strong controls, better turnaround times, and ongoing process improvements across the P2P cycle in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable activities across the Procure-to-Pay process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Process and review supplier invoices in ERP and PTP systems, confirming correct coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform and monitor three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Ensure AP workflows are completed in line with internal policies and operational requirements.
  • Investigate complex invoice issues related to pricing, quantities, tax treatment, and contractual terms.
  • Act as a key point of contact for business stakeholders, procurement teams, and suppliers on AP-related matters.
  • Support vendor account management activities, including supplier inquiries, statement reconciliations, and issue resolution.
  • Resolve exceptions efficiently to maintain smooth end-to-end P2P operations.
  • Prepare and review payment runs while ensuring compliance with payment terms and internal controls.
  • Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies, audit requirements, and VAT regulations.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Maintain strong financial discipline across routine and period-end AP processes.
  • Monitor AP performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, system enhancements, and process standardization.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, procurement, and other business units to support effective PTP operations.
  • Provide guidance on complex AP matters as a senior member of the team.

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay operations, preferably in an international or shared services environment
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong experience with ERP systems and AP automation tools, including NetSuite or similar financial systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other finance tools
  • Solid understanding of purchase order-based invoicing, three-way matching, and end-to-end PTP processes
  • Good knowledge of EMEA regulations and financial compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex AP issues
  • Excellent attention to detail with a structured and organized approach to work
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
