Role Overview

We are seeking an Industrialization & NPI Engineer / Project Manager to act as the key interface between R&D and Manufacturing, ensuring smooth industrialization of new products and stable production processes. This hybrid role combines industrialization, production coordination, and project management responsibilities.

You will play a critical role in bridging design and manufacturing, driving operational excellence, and supporting the ramp-up of new products with our EMS partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the handover from R&D to production, ensuring readiness for prototyping, pilot runs, and mass production.
• Act as the operational interface between R&D, hardware engineering, supply chain, quality, and EMS partners.
• Drive industrialization and NPI projects, ensuring seamless integration of new products into manufacturing.
• Implement and maintain production dashboards, monitor KPIs, and implement improvements for stable operations.
• Coordinate procurement activities related to new product introduction, production equipment and production readiness.
• Support procurement team and industrialization/quality teams for industrialization initiatives, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder management.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for manufacturing requirements and processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support on preparing prototypes/samples in-house
• Support on monitoring Proof of Concept initiatives and Data from the field.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in production engineering, industrialization, or NPI roles (electronics or hardware preferred).
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, procurement for manufacturing , stakeholder management, and quality systems.
• Good project management skills with ability to manage timelines and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German or other languages are a plus).
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for on-site support .
• Technical background in engineering, electronics, or industrial disciplines.
