Data is at the core of our operations, and SharePoint serves as our principal data platform. Optimizing data management processes ensures the success of our diverse business entities, which oversee hundreds of solar energy assets across all lifecycle phases.

Reporting to the Group Head of IT & Security, you will play a crucial role in coordinating our data management programme. While technical expertise is important, a significant focus will be on business engagement and collaboration. Senior business representatives and departmental data trustees will work alongside you, relying on your insights to maximize platform value.

You’ll need exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to scope, prioritize, and communicate deliverables effectively. Business acumen is essential for evaluating business requirements and defining success criteria. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with IT teams, including SharePoint technical experts, Data Architects, Document Controllers, and the Data Protection Officer, ensuring alignment with our technology and cybersecurity strategies.

The role can be based in the UK, Hyderabad, Spain, Italy, or Portugal, with compensation aligned to location benchmarks. Travel to European locations and Hyderabad may be required.

  • Quality Control: Ensure consistency and accuracy in task execution across different regions and clients.
  • Q&A Support: Act as the primary point of contact for SharePoint structure and optimization queries, without duplicating IT helpdesk functions.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Clarity in written and verbal communication, particularly in engaging senior stakeholders.
