Mechanical Engineer (F/M/D)

OUR VISION
When people use our technology to "bridge the gap" between the physical and digital worlds, they don’t just capture reality - they create a new one. In this new reality, they are smarter, more productive, more streamlined, and more creative - because they have the digital foundation to build the world they want to live in.
That’s what NavVis offers in all our products and services: the tools to not just map the world as it is, but to pave the way to a better future. To forge something new. Physical or digital, there is only one reality. And it’s the reality NavVis empowers people to build better.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Join our Mechanical Engineering team within Development & Operations in Munich and help shape the next generation of our mobile mapping products. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work hands-on on real hardware – from first concepts to ramp-up of serial production – in close collaboration with experienced Electrical Engineers, Design engineers and other production partners.
You will play a key role in turning ideas into robust mechanical solutions, owning components and assemblies and contributing directly to the development of our current and future devices, including successors to our existing product platforms.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Develop mechanical components and assemblies from first concepts to ramp-up of serial production.
- Own parts and assembly groups within development projects and support the execution of mechanical concepts together with senior engineers.
- Develop and validate design concepts through targeted prototyping and iterative design reviews.
- Work closely with production engineering and other teams in Development & Operations to ensure manufacturable, robust solutions.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE
-
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (e.g., Techniker), plus early professional experience or high potential experience as a early career engineer.
- 3+ years as a Mechanical Engineer working on developing products.
- Experience working with CAD systems and creating parts, drawings and assemblies.

- A hands-on, collaborative and proactive mindset, with an interest in building and testing real hardware products.
