THE OPPORTUNITY

As NavVis continues to grow internationally, our Legal team supports the business across a broad range of legal topics. We are looking for a Working Student in Legal Operations to support the team with day-to-day activities while gaining practical experience in an international technology company.

You will contribute to our transition from AI-assisted to AI-native legal operations. Working closely with the Legal team and other departments, you will gain hands-on experience in legal technology, knowledge management, intellectual property coordination, and process improvement.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Coordinate intellectual property matters by facilitating communication between internal stakeholders and external patent attorneys on patents, trademarks, and designs

  • Support the evaluation and rollout of legal technology, including AI-powered solutions

  • Build and maintain AI-supported workflows that help advance our legal operations

  • Create templates, guidelines, and internal documentation that enable effective tool adoption

  • Organize and maintain the Legal team’s knowledge base, self-service resources, contracts, and legal records

  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings clearly for the team

  • Support corporate, privacy, and data protection matters based on the team’s priorities

  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Order Management, and other departments while owning smaller projects and process improvements

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

  • Currently enrolled in law, business law, or a comparable program with a solid grasp of basic legal principles 

  • A structured, detail-oriented approach to organizing information and documentation

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, project management tools such as Jira, or a legal working environment is a plus

  • Strong written and spoken English skills; German language skills are a plus

  • Interest in intellectual property and an eagerness to learn about patent, trademark, and design processes in a technology company

  • Curiosity about legal technology and AI tools, with an interest in improving how an in-house Legal team works
