  • Build and ship internal data products and automated workflows that activate insights in the right tools to drive impact.
  • Be a key partner to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure data solutions are relevant, usable, and impactful.
  • Elevate the data science craft by applying best practices in maintainable code, rigorous testing, and collaborative code reviews.
  • Translate complex data analyses into compelling narratives and visualizations that resonate with diverse audiences and drive action.

We believe you have

  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, machine learning, or a closely related field.
  • Proven expertise in Python and SQL, with a track record of applying advanced methodologies to real world business problems.
  • Practical experience with statistical analysis, classification, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Experience using AI tools (such as Cursor or Claude) to enhance productivity and quality.
  • A builder mindset with curiosity and interest to use the latest technologies to build internal products and systems that scale.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep interest in sales, marketing, and revenue operations analytics.
  • Solid software engineering practices, including git, versioning, and writing performant, maintainable code.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts through clear narratives and actionable insights.
  • Experience collaborating with data engineers on data pipelines, model deployment, and monitoring.
  • The ability to work independently and navigate unfamiliar challenges by seeking appropriate input and prioritizing effectively.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with modern data tools (e.g. Snowflake, Hex, DBT) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.

AI and Hiring at Mentimeter
At Mentimeter, we believe AI helps us work smarter - but it never replaces the human assessment, curiosity, and personal connection that define our culture and our hiring. We use AI as a sparring partner: to bounce ideas, bring new perspectives, support structure, and make our work more efficient. But the meaning, decisions, and interactions always come from people.
  • AI does not screen or decide on candidates.
  •  There is no automated filtering, ranking, or decision-making in our recruitment process. Every application is reviewed by a person.
  • Hiring teams may use AI to support their work - for example, to structure notes, prepare interview questions, or organize their thinking.
AI strengthens our work, but it does not define it. At Mentimeter, we’re not building an AI-driven hiring process - we’re building a people-first culture, where technology helps us listen, learn, and grow together.

Culture at Mentimeter
At Mentimeter we believe in giving everyone a voice - regardless of who you are. So we build a platform that does just that. Our platform is not only our product but also our organization. A platform where people feel safe, where differences are embraced, a place where you can have fun. We strongly encourage applicants who are people of color, LGBTQ+, women, people with disabilities, and/or formerly incarcerated people, and a college degree is not strictly required. In order to give everyone a voice, we need to be as diverse as our users.
