Job Details

  • 💼 Marketing Team
  • 📍 Barcelona - Spain
  • 🕜 Full-Time/Hybrid

What you will do

You'll be at the heart of Lighthouse's field marketing presence across one of our most commercially important regions. Events are our top revenue-driving channel in EMEA, and your job is to make them count, from planning through to execution. But Field Marketing at Lighthouse goes beyond the event room. You'll also work across webinars, digital campaigns, partner co-marketing, and localised content, understanding how each channel connects to pipeline and knowing when to activate the right one.

You'll work running a packed calendar across diverse markets and contributing directly to commercial outcomes. You'll build strong relationships with the regional sales teams, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and develop a sharp understanding of what works market by market. You won't be doing the same thing twice, EMEA is not one market, and the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining consistent quality is core to this role.

At Lighthouse, AI is central to how we work. In this role, that means leveraging AI tools across event planning, content creation, and reporting, to move faster, work smarter, and show the real commercial contribution of field marketing to the business.

Where you will have impact

  • Own your piece of the event calendar. Work closely with the regional sales teams and your EMEA field marketing colleague to plan and execute events across your markets, from industry trade shows and partner activations to hosted experiences and sponsored engagements. Events are our top revenue-driving channel in EMEA. Make them count.
  • Bring the right judgement to every event. Help shape the EMEA event programme which events to prioritise, how Lighthouse shows up at each one, and what good looks like in your markets. You'll operate with high autonomy, bringing ideas and flagging trade-offs clearly.
  • Build and nurture relationships. Develop connections with key industry players, associations, and partners that extend Lighthouse's reach in your markets. The right relationships open doors that no amount of spend can buy.
  • Stay close to sales. Be a reliable, embedded partner to the EMEA sales teams. Understand their priorities, translate them into event activity, and keep them informed. Marketing and sales moving together is what drives results.
  • Make the numbers speak. Track, measure, and report on your field marketing activity. Manage your budget carefully, track against targets, and use data to tell a clear story of what's working and where to invest next.
  • Go beyond the event room. While events are our primary pipeline driver in EMEA, you'll also support and contribute to broader field marketing activity, including webinars, digital campaigns, partner co-marketing, and localised content. You don't need to be a specialist in all of these, but you understand how they connect to the event programme and can activate them when needed.
  • Use AI as a force multiplier. Leverage AI tools to work smarter across planning, content creation, and reporting. At Lighthouse, AI isn't optional, it's how we work.

About our team

You'll join a global Field Marketing team of regional marketers deeply embedded in their markets and passionate about turning local insight into commercial impact.
In EMEA, you'll work alongside a fellow field marketer based in Barcelona, while staying closely connected to the global marketing function and the Manager of Field Marketing. It's a high-initiative, collaborative environment where great local ideas have real influence on how we grow.

What's in it for you?

  • Flexible working environment: Work from home or at one of our global offices.
  • Flexible time off: Autonomy to manage your work-life balance.
  • Alan Healthy benefits: 160€/month for food or nursery.
  • Payflow App: Access your earned salary in advance at no cost to you.
  • Flexible retribution: Optional benefits through tax-free payroll deductions for food, transportation and/or nursery.
  • Wellbeing support: Subsidized up to 80% ClassPass subscription.
  • Comprehensive health insurance: 100% Alan coverage for you, your spouse, and dependents.
  • Collaborative team: High-bar, friendly, creative, and passionate colleagues.
  • Career development: Workshops, frameworks, tools, training, and processes to realize your full potential.
  • Impactful work: Shape products relied on by 85,000+ users worldwide.
  • Competitive compensation: Proactively maintained to value your work.
  • Referral bonuses: Earn rewards for bringing in new talent.

Who you are

  • 4+ years in field marketing or event management. Events are at the core of this role, but you have a working understanding of the broader marketing mix: webinars, digital, partner marketing, or content and know how to make different channels work together. You've owned events end-to-end and have a track record of turning them into pipeline results.
  • You operate with autonomy and initiative. You don't wait to be told what to do. You manage your own workload, flag issues early, and take ownership of your markets without needing constant direction.
  • You're organised, detail-oriented, and reliable under pressure. Managing a high-volume event calendar across multiple markets without dropping the ball, on budget, on brand, on time, is exactly your kind of challenge.
  • A background in hospitality tech, travel tech, or SaaS is a strong plus. You have, or are actively building, a professional network across the European hospitality or travel technology space.
  • You know Europe. Not as a concept, as a collection of distinct markets, each with its own culture, relationships, and pace. You adapt without losing the thread.
  • Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools are part of how you work, not something you'd need to learn on the job.
  • You treat AI as a genuine productivity lever, not a novelty. You're curious, you test new tools, and you find ways to make them work for your specific challenges.
