What you will do
Following the recent union of The Hotels Network and Lighthouse, we are looking for a Market Manager to expand the Japanese market. You will own the full sales cycle for our pioneering B2B SaaS technology. Your mission is to help hotel brands in Japan increase their direct bookings by showcasing the power of our platform. You will be responsible for sourcing new clients, demonstrating our product, and closing deals to expand our footprint in the region.
Where you will have impact
- Source and engage potential clients through strategic cold calling, email campaigns, and professional networking.
- Build and execute a targeted business development plan to achieve sales targets across the Japanse region.
- Deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations to key decision-makers, engaging with stakeholders across revenue, marketing, and commercial leadership.
- Attend industry conferences and organize business trips to build your pipeline and close key accounts.
- Negotiate contracts, balancing client value with company profit margins, and ensure a smooth handover to our post-sales teams.
- Maintain meticulous records of your sales activities and pipeline using Salesforce.
- Leverage AI-driven insights and automation to optimize your sales process, improve forecast accuracy, and elevate pipeline quality.
About our team
Youâll be joining our Sales team within the wider Revenue department. We are a global team of over 150 sales professionals across 24 countries. You will be part of our APAC hiring departmentâa team of 36 people focused on growing our market share in both mature and emerging territories. We work closely with hotels and short-term rental providers to help them improve their revenue through our technology.

Who you are
Essential
- You have proven experience in a full-cycle B2B SaaS sales role, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- You have strong prospecting and pipeline generation skills with a proven ability to break into new accounts.
- You possess strong knowledge of the Travel or Hospitality industry.
- You are fluent in English and Japanese, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- You are comfortable leading meetings with C-level executives and presenting at industry conferences.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in a complex, rapidly evolving environment.
- You are willing and able to travel frequently to meet clients and attend events.
- You have a growth mindset and curiosity around AI, with an eagerness to use new tools to improve efficiency.

- Experience selling digital marketing, revenue management solutions, or multi-product SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with hotel commercial structures and direct channel growth strategies.
