What you will do
As our Data Analyst, you will be at the intersection of data assurance and business intelligence. You will ensure our financial data and insights remain accurate, reliable, and actionable, playing a crucial role in maintaining trust in our data. Working within the Strategic Analytics Team, you will support key stakeholders like the CFO, the VP of Finance and collaborate closely with the wider Data & Analytics team to drive the company’s success.
Where you will have impact
- Manage and execute data analysis projects in partnership with our strategic finance and FinOps teams to deliver critical insights.
- Investigate and reconcile data discrepancies between key business platforms, such as Salesforce and NetSuite, to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct daily reviews of revenue data, investigate discrepancies, and implement quality assurance processes to maintain a single source of truth.
- Utilize your SQL expertise to query our data warehouse, developing and maintaining insightful dashboards in Looker that deliver clear, actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across accounting, credit, and finance teams, acting as a key liaison to resolve complex data challenges.
- Support the VP of Finance and other key leaders with clear, data-driven insights that guide strategic financial decisions and planning.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Data & Analytics and the wider Data team to continuously improve our data models and reporting capabilities.
About our team
Within this role you will be part of the Data & Analytics, specifically within the Strategic Analytics pillar. We are a central pillar of our operations at Lighthouse, managing a vast array of data assets and driving strategic decisions across the organization. We handle millions of data points daily, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to unlock new directions for our internal processes and functions.
Our responsibilities include:
- Enhancing Data Usability: We optimize the actionability of our data assets to empower stakeholders.
- Supporting Leadership: We provide critical insights that assist our leaders in making data-driven decisions.
- Uncovering Insights: We analyze customers' commercial behavior to drive commercial strategies.
- Developing Definitions & KPIs: We collaborate with various teams to create metrics for strategic decision-making.
- Ensuring Data Reliability: We maintain data integrity during due diligence and M&A projects.
We work closely with the Data Warehousing Team, responsible for maintaining efficient data infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, providing data support, and automating data workflows.
Technologies you will work with
SQL, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), dbt, Looker, GitLab, Jira, Python.

Who you are
Essential
- Proven experience in a data analysis role with a strong command of SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to build clear and impactful dashboards using modern BI tools like Looker
- Experience working with and communicating findings to senior leadership and high-level stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of how data warehouses operate and how to leverage them effectively.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to build relationships across different teams.
- A proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset with a passion for untangling complex problems.
We welcome
- Experience with or an interest in learning dbt.
- A background in or a strong willingness to dive deep into the world of finance.
- Previous experience working with financial data from systems like Salesforce or NetSuite.
