We are building one of the world's most ambitious sandbox simulation games and the technology behind it.
From large-scale multiplayer systems and engine technology to gameplay, rendering, tools, art and design, we work on complex challenges that require experienced game developers who enjoy ownership, technical depth and long-term thinking. You could be developing our in-house game engine VRAGE3 or Space Engineers 2 game.

At Keen Software House, we develop large-scale sandbox simulation games like Space Engineers 1 and Space Engineers 2, focused on engineering, construction, destruction, physics, emergent gameplay and player creativity.

Space Engineers has one of the largest creator communities on Steam with more than 500,000 Workshop creations.

 

 

Why VRAGE3?

We are developing our own next-generation engine focused on large-scale simulation, destruction, voxel technology, rendering, multiplayer systems and player-created worlds.

Working on Space Engineers 2 often means solving problems that many game developers never encounter in their entire career.

With the nickname “the City of a Hundred Spires,” Prague is known for its stunning architecture and mystical Old Town. The city is also known for its comfortable transport, green spaces, and affordable living. Being in the heart of Central Europe also allows for easy travel across the whole of Europe.

 

 

Remote collaboration possible

Our team is global.

Finding the best candidates to join Keen Software House means exploring every possible solution, including remote work. While we strive to provide team members with the best possible work-life balance here in Prague at our incredible Oranzerie offices, we understand that it is not always possible to transition.

Our team works fully remotely from many different countries around the world.

However, we are generally only able to consider candidates whose time zones allow for a reasonable overlap with Central European Time (CET), enabling effective collaboration with the rest of the team.
