We are seeking a detail-oriented Group Treasury Accountant to join our Treasury Accounting team. This role is focused on ensuring the completeness and accuracy of treasury-related financial records. The successful candidate will be responsible for recording accounting entries, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting the integrity of financial reporting. This position requires analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

What you will be doing: 

  • Record and maintain all treasury-related accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all treasury accounting records and transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports related to treasury activities.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of treasury transactions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure alignment and consistency in financial reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain internal controls related to treasury accounting processes.
  • Assist in developing and improving treasury accounting policies and procedures.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within treasury or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
