As a Junior Key Account Manager (KAM) at Jumia Ghana, you will drive category revenue and platform assortment by scaling strategic relationships across a high-volume portfolio of mid-tier and emerging sellers. You will leverage automated systems, self-service tools, and standardised guidelines to optimise dozens of vendor accounts, boost inventory depth, and maximise seller participation in major commercial events.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Source, onboard, and grow a large portfolio of long-tail sellers to rapidly expand Jumia Ghana’s product variety and inventory depth.
  • Drive high content standards, competitive pricing, and reliable stock availability across thousands of emerging SKUs.
  • Monitor key operational metrics including seller fulfillment rates, out-of-stock percentages, and daily revenue contributions.
  • Utilise self-service tools, automated workflows, and standardized communication to manage high-volume accounts efficiently.
  • Mobilise long-tail vendor participation in major Jumia Ghana shopping events, including Black Friday, Tech Week, and Jumia Anniversary Sales.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, with proven experience in e-commerce or account management.
  • Track record of managing high-volume vendor or seller portfolios in a marketplace environment.
  • Strong data-tracking skills to evaluate fulfillment performance, sales trends, and catalog health.
  • Comfort using scalable communication tools, CRM systems, and automated platforms to drive account operations.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills to motivate sellers and secure event participation.
