What you will be doing:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRM and other Jumia HR systems
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure information completeness and accuracy
- Generate standard and ad-hoc HR reports for country leadership and Group HR
- Support the implementation of system updates as directed by Group HR Operations
- Process all employee lifecycle transactions in HRM (hiring, transfers, promotions, exits)
- Prepare and issue employment contracts and amendments according to local requirements
- Coordinate the administrative aspects of onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain digital and physical personnel files in compliance with local regulations
- Ensure HR documentation complies with local labor laws and Jumia policies
- Prepare required statutory reports for local authorities
- Support internal and external audits related to HR processes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local labor regulations
- Validate monthly payroll inputs and coordinate with Finance for accurate processing
- Administer local benefits programs and ensure proper system documentation
- Manage leave administration and attendance tracking
- Support the annual compensation review process with accurate data preparation
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries on HR operational matters
- Guide HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Issue employment verification letters and other HR documentation
- Support the local HR team with administrative tasks as needed
Travel & Admin Management
- Booked flight tickets for employees traveling from Egypt for business trips.
- Managed visa applications and coordinated with HR teams in destination countries for invitation letters and accommodations.
- Arranged accommodations and transportation for employees visiting Egypt.
- Reviewed and approved invoices from hotels, transportation services, and travel agencies.
- Negotiated and established special-rate contracts with hotels for the company.

What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience
- Thorough working knowledge of MS Office, e.g., solid and sound Excel knowledge
- Strong coaching, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage escalations and work in a fast-paced environment.
