Role overview:
Your primary focus will be responsible for the execution of the day-day activity for social campaign activity for 3rd Party Brand and JD own-brand marketing campaigns, to deliver best in class social media end-end campaigns. You will be a point of contact and have a helicopter viewpoint across 3rd Party Brand and JD own-brand marketing campaigns. You will be a point of contact for the Social Media Channel Management team and responsible for delivering campaigns across social. Working with the Social Media Campaigns Team, you will liaise and build relationships with wider team stakeholders across the JD estate to further the social strategies across brand and campaign moments. The role is responsible for delivering best-in-class content across JD social media channels, drive engagement through community management, and taking a data-led approach to improve platform performance, content performance and future campaign planning.

Responsibilities:

Campaign Project Management

  • Working with the wider social team, the candidate must continually support in delivering campaign content that will live across JD’s social channels.
  • You will work on the project plans ‘Run of Show’ (ROS) documents for all tier 1 (business priority) campaigns supporting the Senior Social Campaigns Executive, ensuring that all information is shared with external brand and internal JD teams and added to the social media tooling, Sprinklr.
  • Brief the wider social team to ensure campaign content hits JD’s social channels at the right time, through strong tease, launch and sustain moments.
  • Support in managing all assets from campaigns – both external and internal, ensuring the social team have what they need for ‘go live’.
  • You will attend campaign activations and events and representing the business to the wider industry and competitors.

Strategy and Execution

  • You will work with the Senior Social Campaign Executive, and marketing team to ensure our newly developed Social Strategy is closely followed during the brief and integration of all campaign projects.
  • Work with the wider Social Team and the Marketing team to adhere to integrated strategies that ensure social is always in the heart of what we do.

Content and Collaboration

  • Create, concept and deliver content that aligns with JD marketing and social strategy to connect with our social audience to drive community engagement and help strengthen their connection to JD and the partner brands.
  • During campaign periods, the candidate must maintain and enhance online conversation through the creation of engaging content.
  • Work with the buying/merchandising team on ensuring all relevant campaign product/SMU is being promoted and showcased in the best way possible – following brand guidelines and/or guidance from 3PB teams.
  • Work with our external brand partners and teams on calls / in person to build strong social relationships to take into any campaign.
  • Work closely with our I&T team on influencer campaign extensions and concepts.

Reporting and trend monitoring

  • Work towards performance goals, campaign KPI set by the Social Media Campaign Manager and monitor success for organic and paid activity for all campaign projects.
  • To continually build and improve the social media channels and offering for JD where there is channel presence.
  • Working closely with our Social Media Analyst, Social Community Manager to understand how a campaign is performing and being received by the JD audience.
  • Regularly reviewing and adapting campaign plans to ensure the campaign message is communicated and resonated with the audience.
  • Consistently optimise features within Sprinklr to aid with reporting, and create UTM links to track traffic from social to web and app.
  • Report back on any campaigns and or social activity  to show the benefits and coverage obtained. Also commercial results for each campaign where necessary so we can showcase the benefits and value of social to the wider business.

Role objectives and KPIs:

Key objective of the role:

  • In-put for the rollout of all brand campaigns across organic social
  • Implement and ideate new ideas for brand talent, I&T creators and socially led campaign moments.
  • Overall delivery and curation of brand content to the social media team from external agencies and internal studio team.
  • Supporting in at least 1 main campaigns across the calendar year from end-to-end, taking a supporting role in ideation, execution and delivery.
  • Be involved in 4 campaigns per month from a support perspective as a supplement to the Senior Social Campaigns Executive.
  • Provide support for the EU Social Teams in market to ensure campaigns are rolled out across all JD Social spaces.
  • Understand campaign assets across paid social and work closely with the paid team on roll-out and how this compliments organic ROS.
  • Report on campaign results as requested by the business.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to speak to multiple teams across the business.
  • The ability to work as part of a small team in a fast moving environment.
  • A willingness to learn new skills.
  • Experience dealing with customers.
  • Prior blog writing or social media community management experience preferred but not essential.
  • Good grasp of trainer knowledge is an advantage
