Marketing Manager

Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager main role is to build awareness by developing and executing on marketing strategies to meet the consumer needs and maximizing profit. You are needed to optimize planned brand and marketing strategies, managing the marketing budget and development of campaigns and initiatives.

The Marketing Manager must have an extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and be able to identify new business leads. You are required to manage the executives and internal stakeholders to ensure that campaigns and plans are successful. With a deep understanding of JD business and the brands we bring in, you are needed to execute relevant campaigns whilst keeping it relevant to our consumers. To be relevant you are required to have an extensive understanding of JD brand pillars across fashion, music, and dance.

The Marketing department controls all communication and the overall look and feel of the JD brand across retail and online in market. To accelerate business growth and build relationships with the brands, you will need to be the best in brand partner marketing by identifying and creating opportunities for the business. Leading with omnichannel, you need to achieve the best customer experience whether it is through brick-and-mortar stores, online or mobile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  • Partner with email, performance marketing and web teams to design, test and evolve lead nurturing tactics.
  • Working in partnership with the creative team, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-­facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support.
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
  • Exceptional inter-departmental collaboration, specifically with Multi-Channel, Buying & Merchandising and Retail teams.
  • Develops territory relevant brand partner campaigns.
  • Work in close partnership with partners and brands to identify new business opportunities and develop plans and actions.
  • Establishes and supports strategic marketing direction and annual planning for each brand.
  • Developing creative and effective strategies
  • Managing all external agency relationships
  • Managing all mall marketing relationships
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge in marketing, media, and research theory and technique.
  • Actively trains his/her personnel the marketing team
  • Planning and managing all promotions, activities, events, and campaigns.

Requirement:

  • Degree in Business Studies/Mass Communication/Marketing or relevant.
  • Prior experience working in marketing
  • Required language(s): English.
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Proofreading and Editing skill.
  • Possess good analytical skills, meticulous, positive working attitude, committed, good interpersonal skills and follow up skills.
  • The ability to work in fast moving environment
