Launcher Assembly Technician (m/f/d)
Mission Brief
In our Launcher AIT (Assembly, Integration, Testing) Team, you are jointly responsible for the technically flawless and timely delivery of our launch vehicles, from the assembly of the first structural elements through our fluid and avionic systems to acceptance tests. Our dynamic multinational team builds and maintains the flight hardware in close collaboration with our engineers and the Integrated Testing team at our launch base.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:
- High-Precision Assembly: Precise assembly of advanced space components
- Machining Carbon Fiber Composites: Working with cutting-edge carbon fiber materials
- Testing Electrical and Mechanical Internals: Ensuring system reliability through thorough testing
- Component and Assembly Testing: Validating the functionality of individual parts and complete assemblies
- High Cleanliness Standards: Maintaining high cleanliness standards to ensure component integrity
- Detailed Documentation: Accurately documenting work processes to maintain high standards and quality
- Compliance with Standards: Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations
- Process Improvement: Contributing to continuous process improvement
- Test Setup Support: Assisting in setting up accurate and reliable tests
Qualification Checklist
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, specializing in production engineering, maintenance engineering or comparable training in accordance with the requirements
- Several years of professional experience in the field of aviation and/or aerospace
- Knowledge of gas/fluid bolting techniques
- Good drawing skills, spatial awareness and a good technical understanding
- Willingness for occasional assembly work at different locations
- High quality awareness
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and in a team
- High motivation to take on complex challenges
- Foundational knowledge of computer and software applications
- Fluent in English and German
