We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist with a focus on Marketing to join our purchasing team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day business in this category, provide cover for other procurement areas when needed, and work together with the team to expand Coupa.
Tasks
- Review offers and negotiate production and creative contracts, buyouts, and usage rights (actors, voice-over, music, AI assets).
- Accompany pitches and RFPs for creation, production, and tools – from the longlist to contract signature.
- Manage media agency pitches and contracts jointly with the Media Team: remuneration models, kickbacks, makegoods, audit rights, and exit clauses.
- Procure tools and licenses for Marketing: MarTech, research, and SaaS.
- Provide cover support for other procurement areas within the team when workload requires it.
- Collaborate with other buyers on expanding Coupa – particularly building up catalogs and punchout connections.
- Maintain clean processes: contract filing, vendor evaluation, and savings reporting.
Qualifications
- Procurement experience, ideally with a focus on marketing or media buying.
- Ideally a degree in business administration or a comparable vocational qualification.
- Confident negotiation skills in English and German. Additional languages of our markets (ES, FR, IT, PL, NL) are an advantage.
- Contractual confidence with framework agreements, usage and licensing rights, and SLAs.
- Experience with P2P systems such as Coupa, ideally including catalog setup and punchout connections.
- Advantageous: Basic understanding of the media landscape (CPM, GRP, kickbacks, agency remuneration models).
- AI is second nature to you – you enjoy and naturally integrate it into your daily work, including legal aspects around AI content such as labeling requirements or AI actors as buyout alternatives.
- Drive to shape and enjoy building up structures – you actively contribute to expanding Central Procurement rather than just managing existing processes.
- Structured and reliable way of working.
- Negotiation skills and a confident, reliable presence toward internal and external stakeholders.
- Fast comprehension and enthusiasm for working in a technology-driven environment.
- A strong sense for balancing costs and KPIs with creativity and brand impact.
Benefits
- Hybrid working model.
- Flexible working hours through trust-based working hours.
- At some locations a subsidized canteen and various free drinks.
- Modern office space with very good transport connections.
- Various employee discounts for activities and products.
- Employee events such as summer and winter parties, as well as workshops.
- Numerous training and development opportunities.
- Various health offers, such as sports and health courses.
