Working Student (f/m/d) - Shared Network Infrastructure (Server)

As a member of the Shared Network Infrastructure (server) team you are responsible for operational and planned maintenance tasks in the Shared Network Infrastructure, SNI, supporting server services for the IONOS group.

Additionally to providing Out-of-Band and management networks, The SNI team also provides network related services on Linux servers such as TACACS, Syslog, Network Backups, and Network Monitoring to the various other network teams in IONOS.

Tasks

• Basic Linux administration and operation.
• User management.
• Validating and updating documentation.
• Basic networking tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in IT relevated studys.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Basic Networking knowledge.
• Fluent in both English and German.
• Knowledge of Git & Gitlab CI.
• Interested in scripting with Python / Bash, using APIs.
• Interested in server deployment using Ansible.
• Containerization & virtualization.
• 10 - 15 hours per week.
• Able to work independently.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
