Why this role matters

The Country Manager will be strategically and operationally responsible for the growth, profitability, and overall performance of the assigned commercial market. This role bridges high-level corporate strategy with local market execution—leading cross-functional collaboration, driving financial efficiency, managing profitability targets, and nurturing key partner relationships.

What you'll actually do

  • Responsible for achieving overall performance of the commercial unit by hitting targets set and agreed upon in line with company strategy
  • Responsible for metrics monitoring of market assigned and driving problem solving for need for special support, anomalies, etc.
  • Responsible for overall team productivity, performance, and monitoring of KPIs and identifying downtrends and uptrends in order to take action proactively
  • Act as the main escalation point for any partner relationship management matters
  • Manage existing key partner relationships and coordinate issue resolution, and participate in related industry, partner, and client events
  • Manage teams of relationship managers to enable them to provide partner relationship support
  • Ensure that the team achieves financial targets for the market according to profitability metrics
  • Lead Financial Planning of their assigned commercial region. This includes ensuring financial forecasts are aligned with the market’s realities and approving budgets for the region and countries’ activities
  • Ensure financial controls are put in place through budget and expense management and push cost efficiency initiatives to ensure overall profitability (i.e. partner payouts, events, campaigns, etc).
  • Develop and implement strategic plans in line with the company strategy for the market according to needs or trends. Ensure that the market achieves growth and profitability, while still being competitive across the industry.
  • Identify opportunity areas for efficiency and optimisation of processes. This includes problem-solving and addressing challenges and issues in operational problems, customer dissatisfaction, or competitive threats.
  • Responsible for collaborating with other cross-functional teams within Exness to enable and execute strategies for market growth (country requirements). Includes, but is not limited to, Marketing, Customer Support, Payments, Legal and Compliance, etc.
  • Responsible for executing top management directions to changes in direction of countries (opening / closing a market)

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree qualification in a similar field; Master’s will be considered an advantage. 
  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is a strong advantage
  • Investment license and/or relevant financial certifications (e.g., CFA or equivalent) highly preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Development; 
  • Demonstrable track record of business development, increasing sales and marketing activities. 
  • Proven track record of managing high-value partners/accounts and driving revenue growth
  • Advanced knowledge of financial markets, trading, and investment products
  • Strong expertise in technical and fundamental analysis
  • Deep understanding of Stock and FOREX trading ecosystems
  • Proven experience in managing complex partnership agreements and commercial negotiations
  • Strong proficiency in CRM and data/reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau)
  • Ability to analyse complex datasets, derive insights, and translate them into strategic actions
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in business growth and market expansion
  • Experience in developing and executing market-specific strategies and partner growth plans
  • Demonstrated leadership expertise with at least 5 years in a management or team lead capacity.
  • Proven capability to thrive within high-velocity, multicultural professional settings.
  • Superior aptitude for organisation and complex problem-solving, coupled with rigorous analytical precision.
  • Strategic thinking with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and decision-making ability
  • Resilience, persistence, and strong critical thinking skills in complex environments
  • Results-driven mindset with consistent achievement of ambitious KPIs and revenue targets

  • Flexibility to travel and manage international partner relationships
