We’re looking for a Production Engineer to act as our on-site technical lead at a key systems integrator in  Tainan, Taiwan, owning production oversight, quality, and delivery.

About the role: 
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll be embedded on-site with a third-party systems integrator, acting as our technical and operational representative. You’ll be the bridge between teams — ensuring production runs smoothly, meets quality standards, and delivers against expectations. 

A typical day for a Production Engineer could look like this: 

  • Acting as the on-site point of contact, representing Infinitesima at the integrator facility 
  • Overseeing production activities, ensuring alignment to technical specifications and timelines 
  • Reviewing production plans, tracking KPIs, and reporting performance back to internal teams 
  • Working closely with engineering and production teams to resolve technical challenges 
  • Supporting new product introduction and engineering change implementation 
  • Leading root cause analysis and driving continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Conducting quality checks, audits, and ensuring compliance with required standards 
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and escalating risks where needed 

Who we are looking for: 
To succeed as a Production Engineer, we do need you to have experience of: 

  • Working in a production or manufacturing environment (5+ years) 
  • Partnering with third-party manufacturers, suppliers, or systems integrators 
  • Managing stakeholders across different organisations and influencing without authority 
  • Understanding assembly processes, production systems, and technical documentation 
  • Analysing production data and identifying risks, trends, and improvements 

 Nice to have: 

  • Experience working in semiconductors or complex engineering environments 
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies 
  • Experience as an embedded or resident engineer 
  • Awareness of IP protection in outsourced manufacturing environments 

 

Education / Qualifications: 
A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial or similar), or equivalent experience
