
Senior Quality Engineer

For this permanent position, we are looking for an Operations Quality Engineer to join the Quality department in our Headquarter in Geneva, Switzerland.
The Operations Quality Engineer will be responsible for all Operational Quality topics within IDQ’s Manufacturing area and mainly based in our Manufacturing site in Carouge, Geneva. He/She will act as the main Quality representative and ensure adherence to current
processes. The Quality Engineer will support production, R&D, and suppliers by identifying root causes, preventing defects, and promoting a culture of quality, while addressing issues and driving continuous improvement within the organization, he/she will grant both Quality
System Compliance and Product Quality ensuring that products or manufacturing processes comply with defined quality standards during production. He/She will also oversee Suppliers Non-conformance process and be involved in various ad-hoc projects to support the Head of
Quality Assurance (Quality System Management, Compliance…)
Key Functions and Responsibilities
- Handle Suppliers Non-Conformities and Corrective action process.
- Manage Non conform product segregation and containment actions.
- Release products and ensure product conformity.
- Manage and drive the internal non-conformities process until issues resolutions.
- Monitoring operational quality indicators (scrap rate, rework…).
- Propose and realize continuous improvement actions.
- Perform audits (internally or externally).
- Assist in structuring the calibration process.
- Support Quality System or Operations as required.

- Excellent understanding of manufacturing/assembly processes (PCB production, optical alignment, testing).
- Solid knowledge of quality tools and standards (ISO 9001, 8D, CAPA, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics or quality management or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in Quality / Control, in an industrial sector.
- Experience in managing quality issues and resolving issues.
- At ease with technical and electronic environment.
- Fluent in French & English. Both speaking and writing.
